ALABAT, Quezon - The Alabat, Quezon local government unit together with the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) recently launched Go.SmARTApp with the aim of expediting and bringing local government services closer to its citizens through an online app.
Led by Alabat Mayor MGen. Fernando L. Mesa (Ret) assisted the ARTA representative in the launch of Go.SmARTApp which will greatly help to have ‘ease of doing business’ and make the municipality ‘business friendly’.
Go.SmARTApp is a web and mobile application that allows a resident to register, pay, and avail other local government services using a mobile phone.
Services that can benefit from the online app include payment for business registration, real property tax, cedula, water and other municipal services.
The service also includes online payment to SSS, HDMF Pag-Ibig Fund, and PhilHealth.
At the launch of Go.SmARTApp, the ARTA representative conducted a walk through presentation for Mayor Mesa and leaders in each office to learn the entirety of the application and its uses.
The mayor's order is also clear that all local government employees are not allowed to solicit or accept bribes. (with report from Alabat LGU)
