DISMISS DISINFORMATION. The widely circulated news of a free swab test and 100,000 doses of Johnson & Johnson vaccines is fake, according to the Cabuyao Hospital.

CABUYAO CITY, Laguna — The Cabuyao Hospital verified that rumors about a free swab test and 100,000 doses of Johnson & Johnson vaccines reportedly received by the city administration are false.

Dr. Gregorio Fabios, chief of hospital, labeled this information "fake news" in a statement posted on the Cabuyao City Information Office's Facebook page.



“Ang mga anunsyong kalakip ng post na ito sa kasamaang palad ay mga FAKE NEWS at walang katotohanan. Huwag po sana tayong agad maniwala,” he said.

“Makaaasa kayo na magkakaroon ng sapat na hakbang na legal ang pamahalaang lungsod upang ituwid ang malaking kamaliang ito,” Fabregas officially clarified.



According to the Cabuyao City Information Office, the Facebook page where the distribution of incorrect information was published is not legitimate.

According to Cabuyao City Vice Mayor Leif Opia, the city government is already taking efforts to prosecute those responsible for spreading "fake news" that confuses citizens. (withFC, PIA 4A
