PAGSANJAN, Laguna - The facility granted to the Pagsanjan local government by the Department of Education will be turned into an isolation facility for people affected by Covid-19.

Mayor Peter Casius Trinidad stated on Facebook that the equipment for the additional isolation facility is already being prepared.

He said they have also disinfected the facility to ensure the safety of those who remain in the area while recovering from the disease.

Mayor Peter Casius Trinidad thanked to the DepEd office for lending the facility to care for constituents and provide necessary medical services.

He said that the people can hope that the local government will do everything possible to address the COVID-19 situation in town.

“Tuloy ang suporta at kaisa nyo kami sa laban na inyong kinakaharap ngayon pandemya kaya naman makakaasa kayo na gagawin namin ang aming makakaya upang matulungan kayo sa inyong mas mabilis na paggaling,” the mayor said.

Meanwhile, according to the most recent local government data, there are now 204 active COVID-19 cases in Pagsanjan, following the addition of 52 new cases on September 13.
