ANTIPOLO CITY, Rizal - The Department of Labor and Employment - Rizal and the Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor jointly offered livelihood assistance to some citizens of Montalban (Rodriguez) on August 31.
The Southville 8-C Urban Poor Organization benefited from nearly P200,000 worth of livelihood assistance, according to the official Facebook Page of DOLE-Rizal.
The distribution of rice and general merchandise livelihood assistance is part of the convergence program of DOLE and PCUP.
They were led by DOLE-Rizal Director Marivic Martinez, DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP) focal Janine Rivera, PCUP Social Enterprise Development Unit Head Rosemarie B. Makimkim and other staff providing assistance.
The said beneficiaries were endorsed by the PCUP to DOLE-Rizal to provide assistance. (report from DOLE-Rizal Provincial Office)
