BATANGAS CITY - Gov. DoDo Mandanas, in collaboration with Vice Gov. Mark Leviste and members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, re-approved their focus on the agreed-upon program, project, and activity contained in the Executive Legislative Agenda of the Provincial Government of Batangas at a simple gathering on September 24, 2021, at the Provincial Auditorium, Capitol Compound, Batangas City.

There was also a ceremonial turnover of ordinances and resolutions passed by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan in the Governor's Office, demonstrating the joint action of the two branches of the provincial government towards strengthening the health care system and the province's economic and livelihood recovery following the eruption of Taal Volcano and the current pandemic, witnessed by Board Members.



Gov. Mandanas conveyed in a message that the provincial government in the organization will leave no stone unturned and, despite the hardships, will continue to act to recover and prosper with every Batangueño.

He also thanked the entire provincial government staff, whom he referred to as "shoulders and frontliners" in serving the town.



Gov. Mandanas stated that, due to the impending increase in funding for all local governments throughout the Philippines in 2022, when the Mandanas Ruling is implemented or the availability of LGUs to share in all national taxes collected, it is necessary to focus on individual incumbents who will truly perform their duties and will use the government budget correctly to help so many sick and hungry today.

He mentioned that the distribution of Multi-Purpose Vans and Multi-Purpose Vessels for the island barangays will begin soon. Computers will also be distributed to all barangays to aid in the installation of free internet.



As the budget for personal service also grows, the governor said that casual employees will be given item positions or become regulars, in response to the issue of “endo” or short-term employment with only a short-term contract. Meanwhile, the governor will also propose to double the daily rate of job order staff in the Capitol.

It will also be set, Gov. Mandanas, the allocation of additional funds for the educational assistance program and increasing the allowance of barangay volunteer workers, who directly assist the government in the implementation of projects in each community.
