PILILLA, Rizal - Pililla Mayor Dan Masinsin appealed to residents to follow the IATF's health protocols after the city's COVID-19 cases continued to rise (Inter-Agency Task Force).

In a video shared on Facebook on September 23, the mayor instructed that if anyone feels bad, they should immediately report it to the barangay to coordinate with the Rural Health Center and seek appropriate treatment as soon as possible.

“Huwag po tayong matakot na magpaswab at huwag po nating antaying lumala ang sakit na ating nararamdaman,” said the mayor.

In the latest report, there are 203 active cases in the town. A number of patients are once running out of oxygen, according to the mayor. The hospital has almost nothing to carry.

When it comes to home quarantine, the mayor said the local government will try to meet the daily needs.

“Patuloy tayong mag-ingat [at] manalangin sa Panginoong Diyos na matapos na ang pandemyang ito. Kasama niyo po kami sa labang ito,” the mayor concluded. (with report from Better Pililla)
