NAIC, Cavite — Since the start of the Covid-19 vaccination program in Naic, Cavite, the local government has vaccinated a total of 18,291 residents.
This is according to Mayor Junio Dualan's official statement on his Facebook page, where the mayor also announced that the vaccination will continue to be offered at various vaccination sites throughout the town.
According to Dualan, the local government launched Mass Vaccination in order to expedite vaccination, and 1,350 essential workers were vaccinated against Covid-19.
The Mayor also stated that the local government will continue to vaccinate the target population of 130,00 in Naic every Tuesday through Friday in order to achieve herd immunity.
The mayor promised that they would work hard to obtain enough vaccines to conduct weekly mass vaccinations in their community.

The mayor also appealed to his constituents to get vaccinated when the opportunity arises as an added protection against the infectious disease Covid-19.
“Isa lamang ang pakiusap ko sa inyo, mga mahal kong Naicqueño; ang magpabakuna na upang makamit natin ang inaasam nating herd immunity sa COVID-19,” Dualan said.
“Maganda po na lahat tayo ay may bakuna. Kung lahat tayo ay may proteksyon, tiyak, malalampasan natin nang mahusay ang pandemyang ito. Mag-ingat tayong lahat, mga mahal kong Naicqueño,” the mayor added. (with report from PB, FC, PIA4A)
