More than 339K Batangueño, now fully vaccinated against COVID-19

BATANGAS CITY - 15.61% or 339,633 of the population of Batangas Province have been fully vaccinated after receiving the 2nd dose of the vaccine against COVID-19, while 546,036 individuals have been vaccinated with the first dose of the vaccine.

This was reported by the Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Rose Ozaeta, at the meeting of members of the Batangas Province Inter-Agency Task Force Against COVID-19 on 31 August 2021.



Governor DoDo Mandanas, who presided over the said online meeting, also clarified that all vaccines that arrive in all cities and municipalities of Batangas come directly from the national government, as well as their delivery and transportation.

He also reminded the compatriots to continue to contact the Barangay Health Workers to get a schedule for vaccinations.



The representative of the Private Hospitals Association of Batangas, Dr. Florentino Afable, to increase the number of BHWs and increase the number of cash incentives they receive so that they will be more interested in serving in their respective barangays.
