TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite — Carmona's local government, in partnership with the DICT's Vaccination Administration System, recently held a pilot test of the latest version of the DICT's Vaccination Administration System (DVAS).
The DVAS would assist the Municipal Health Office (MHO) in providing a more efficient and faster vaccination process at vaccination centers, better organizing recipients' information, and making data sharing, integration, and reporting easier.
DICT Luzon Cluster 2 Regional Director Reynaldo Sy, Carmona LCE Attorney Roy Loyola, 5th District Representative Dahlia Loyola, DICT Consultant Hadrian Cruz of EBiz-DICT, creator of DVAS, and EBiz-DICT Engr. Rex Aguila graced the ceremony.
The vaccination team's healthcare workers received DVAS training to ensure adequate data handling and data privacy for the information obtained.
Carmona takes pride in the development and implementation of IT-supported initiatives and projects that are part of the town's best practices, particularly during current pandemic. (with reports from the Municipality of Carmona)
