ANGONO, Rizal - COVID-19 wards in seven (7) hospitals in Rizal province are full and the province's health care system and utilization status have been raised to Alert Level 4 or High Risk, according to the latest report by the Department of Health (DOH) in September. 6.
The hospitals with full capacity of COVID-19 wards are: Rizal Provincial Hospital System-Angono, RPHS-Morong, Margarito Duavit Memorial Hospital in Binangonan, hospitals in Brgy. Dela Paz, Dalig, Inarawan, and Mambugan in Antipolo City.
At the DOH press briefing on September 6, it was reported that on September 5, the province was the third with the most new cases: Cavite, 1,521; Laguna, 1,158; Rizal, 841; Quezon City, 829; and Bulacan, 827.
Alert Level 4 is also the health care system and utilization or high risk in Rizal which means that the hospitals are almost full.
"Alert level 4 areas are those whose case classifications have reached moderate to critical risk and whose utilization rate of either COVID-19 or ICU beds have reached more than 70%," according to the DOH. (with report from Angono Rizal News Online)
