Who’s your next Philippine President?

“My” President? Even my closest friend has no idea who I support or don't support.

I'm not affiliated with any political party for a reason. Yes, I am vocal about social issues and politics, but I believe that one must be extremely ignorant to require a simplified world view in order to consider one's views credible. Wasn't it made by the people, for the people?

Supporting any candidate of your choice in an election is not a crime or sin. But it is a crime for a journalist to support a single candidate or political party. There are no two sides to the conflict. You are either on the side of the oppressor or the side of the oppressed. Either as an enabler and recipient, or as a disabler and complainant.

The oppressed are those who have been dehumanized, desensitized, and demoralized by toxicity for selfish political gain. On the other hand, enablers collaborate with the government for the greater good.

Some people oppose Many Pacquiao because “he’s a boxer”, “he needs to be prepared for the position”.

Some people hate Leni Robredo so much because she’s "Dilawan" - describe the supporters of the Liberal Party that used yellow as its color symbol..

Some people hate Sara Duterte so much because she’s a daughter of  Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte, a "DDS" - Duterte Diehard Supporters, it's a term used to name people or group of people who are very serious in supporting Duterte.

Some people said Francisco "Isko" Moreno Domagoso is another Grace Poe - "Hinog sa Pilit" in the making.

Another Duterte or Marcos or the All-Talk-No-Action, Anak ni Apo Marcos, Grace Poe or Isko Or Pacquiao. I'm sure a lot of people cringe but the name calling is a new Filipino thing.

Pacquiao, Lacson, Moreno, Tito Sotto, and Marcos, on the other hand, are not in opposition.

The Duterte regime has ruined a lot of politicians career. Because of the magnitude of supported Duterte. The more they oppose, the more they got nearer into extinction. One of them is Panfilo "Ping" Lacson. Indeed Duterte is a silent master tactician when it comes to politics.

But right now Lacson appears to enjoy being the "wild card." That is, he will flatter any politician on both sides of politics. Not because he favors or supports anyone in particular. Because he's preparing for political survival in 2022 and beyond. Extremely calculated.

For so many years, Filipinos have suffered from the gross corruption and incompetence of those who have been given and placed in positions of power.

It wasn't enough to wish, hope, and pray that the Philippines would have leaders as genuine and qualified as some of the other countries' presidents.

People who are well-informed, the church, and the media — both news and entertainment — must work together to educate the uninformed and the gullible so that they can make sound decisions.

Do you interview politicians, or do you have this I'm going to put any politicians on my newspaper...

When Toni Gonzaga said:

"This is where I stand, I don't categorize the people I interview, I look at all of them as people who have stories to share, no matter how bad a person is, no matter how the good a person is, no matter how canceled a person is by the society, every single person in this planet has a powerful stories to tell. And no matter how bad their story is, we can always learn from that person. So I don't want to categorized, I'm not gonna interview politicians, I'm not gonna interview managers, I'm not gonna interview these celebrities, I'm just open talking to people with powerful life stories. They're human beings"

I felt that.

Toni will interview Duterte next, and you will be able to predict what will happen. She became even more despised as a result. Worse than that. I'm not sure why people dislike her; it's just an interview. She doesn't even say anything negative about people. You'll only find out if you watch the entire interview.

Toni is not a "enemy" because she has a different point of view. I frequently watch her vlogs, and I believe she is an outstanding interviewer.

Journalism is not a crime too. The crime is to imprison or kill a journalist or publisher for publishing the truth.

Supporting the oppressed is becoming a criminal offense. It doesn't matter who you are, from journalists to activists, if you support the oppressed, you will be attacked by the government.

I hope that you know who is your next president by now.

I don't even know who my president is. I don't know who your President is but my President is my co-Filipino.

Today, tomorrow and always. We must stand for what we believe is for the good of everyone not just for a few who. Stand up for Philippines.
