CAVITE CITY — On October 8, the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) distributed up to 22,100 tilapia fingerlings to pond operators and backyard tilapia growers across the province.
The fingerlings were divided into seven towns and cities throughout the province, including fish pond operators from Cavite City (500 fingerlings), Imus City (6,000), and Dasmarias City (6,000). (1,100).
Tilapia fingerlings were also distributed to backyard fish farmers in Indang (6,000), Tanza (2,000), General Emilio Aguinaldo (7,500), and Maragondon (100).
