CAINTA, Rizal - On October 1, a contract signing ceremony was held between the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and IDOM Consulting Firm to design the Metro Rail Transit (MRT) -4 Project.

The 15.56-kilometer-long MRT-4 project will connect parts of the NCR (Quezon City, San Juan, Mandaluyong, and Pasig) and the Rizal province towns of Cainta and Taytay.



According to a Facebook post by Rizal Province, in addition to easing traffic, it will create thousands of jobs as well as additional business and livelihood opportunities.

Here are the proposed 11 train stations; (1) N. Domingo (near LRT-2 Gilmore Station QC), (2) Col. Bonny Serrano, (3) Greenhills, (4) EDSA, (5) Meralco Ave., (6) Rosario, (7) St. Louis. Joseph, (8) Cainta Junction, (9) Tikling Junction, (10) Manila East Road, and (11) Taytay (Entry to Diversion Road).
