LOS BAÑOS, Laguna — According to UPLB data, more than 3,975 employees, or 90 percent of all employees, have been vaccinated against Covid-19 since the vaccination began on July 27.

The University of the Philippines Los Baos (UPLB) is nearing its goal of achieving a 100% vaccination rate for all University staff and employees.

UPLB intends to vaccinate 4,442 of its employees against Covid-19.

There are currently only 467 employees waiting to be vaccinated with a single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

The Department of Health (DOH) approved the COVAX Facility in order to provide the university with a vaccine allocation from Johnson & Johnson.
