LUCENA CITY - "Distance will never be a hindrance as Quezon Police will always make way to reach and help you"!
This was the message of Quezon police director Col. Joel Villanueva during the conduct of "BARANGAYanihan" at Sentrong Paaralan Ng Mga Agta in Brgy. Catablingan, General Nakar, Quezon benefiting hundreds of young indigenous people belonging to Agta tribe.
Themed “BARANGAYANihan Alay sa Kapatid nating Katutubo”, the whole day activity was hosted by Quezon Police Provincial Office led Lt. Col. Noel Divino, the deputy police director for operation.
Divino was joined by Lt. Col. Lalaine Malapascua, the PCADU chief, Lt. Col. Sheree Ann Ubaña, the PIDMU chief, Major Bonna Obmerga, the PARMU chief and personnel of Gen. Nakar police station under Insp. German Merlere.
Aside from its feeding program, the group distributed food packs, and school supplies to the children who badly affected by COVID- 19 Pandemic.while still following the minimum health standard protocols by observing social distancing and other IATF guidelines to ensure the safety of the participants during the activity.
BARANGAYanihan is a regular activity being held by the QPPO on depressed areas in the province on instruction of Villanueva.
