SAN PABLO CITY, Laguna — The city of San Pablo leads the local governments in Laguna province with the highest number of residents with a complete dose of the vaccine.

According to the San Pablo City Information Office, 42.03 percent or more than 87,624 individuals have completed the COVID-19 vaccine.

“Ang 42.03% accomplishment ay mas mataas sa national accomplishment na 26.68% at sa provincial accomplishment na 26.06% para sa completely vaccinated individuals,” the office said.

Meanwhile, 107,253 people or more than 51.44 percent of the total number of targets to be vaccinated by the city government are just waiting for the second dose of vaccine.

This is just an indication that almost half of the target population of 70 per cent or 208,473 residents out of the projected population of 297,847 have been vaccinated since the start of the rollout in the city.

San Pablo CIO added that their city has already achieved the highest percentage accomplishment in the entire province.

Mayor Amben Amante thanked barangay officials, volunteer groups, religious sectors and private hospitals that helped make the city government's vaccination program a success. (report from CIO San Pablo Facebook Page)
