ANTIPOLO CITY - Antipolo City Hospital System's new Hemodialysis Center - Annex 4 in Brgy. Mambugan in this city on October 7 after the Department of Health's long-awaited permit to operate (PTO) arrived (DOH).
In a Facebook post, Antipolo Mayor Andrea Ynares shared that such a facility is available for free, just bring the requirements; (1) endorsement letter from CSWD, (2) Medical history and physical exam, (3) Hemodialysis orders/prescription, (4) Hepatitis status (HBsAG, Anti-HBS, Anti-HCV, Anti-Hbc), (5) Laboratory and diagnostic test results, (6) Immunization record, (7) Recent hemodialysis record, and (8) RT-PCR test result for first time patients and Rapid Antigen Test weekly.
According to the mayor, there is no need to understand the RT-PCR test and Rapid Antigen Test because the hospital offers a free RT-PCR and antigen test that will be sent to the Antipolo Molecular Laboratory.
Meanwhile, for three days, CSWD has been going from house to house delivering new wheelchairs and walking devices (crutches) from the Operation Blessing Foundation to twenty-nine (29) compatriots.
They also received hygiene kits (vitamins, alcohol, soap, disinfecting cleaner, etc) that would help prevent COVID-19. So far, more than 300 wheelchairs and walking devices have been distributed.
According to the mayor, Antipolo residents with similar needs (wheelchair or crutches), just contact CSWD at 8689-4582 for assistance.
