ALAMINOS, Laguna — To speed up vaccination in their town, the local government has launched the 'Barangay Vaccination Rollout' program.
The Barangay vaccination program, according to Mayor Ruben Alvarez, will be implemented throughout the town to bring free vaccines closer to their countrymen.
Currently, Baranggayan Vaccination has visited six barangays, but this number is expected to grow as the program progresses.
The mayor thanked those who participated in their program, as well as the health workers and volunteers who helped to speed up vaccination and provide people with protection.
According to the most recent report from the Alaminos Rural Health Unit, the number of active Covid-19 cases continues to fall across the country.
According to local government data, there are only 43 cases of the disease currently curing in their town. (with reports from MO, PIA4A)
