According to the city of Antipolo's official Facebook page, the annual weekend market is held every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Sumulong Park in Antipolo City.

A weekend market like this one allows city farmers to sell their vegetable crops, fruits, and other products.

Weekend market items include rice, corn, ampalaya, beans, petchay, mustard, banana, lettuce, okra, talbos, eggplant, kang kong, saluyot, onion leaves, onion, tomato, nightshade, squash, orange, lanzones , suja, guyabano, papaya, cassava, lime and other products harvested or produced by Antipolo farmers.

The City Government, on the other hand, encourages the consumption of commodities to support farmers. (GG/PIA-Rizal reports from Jun-Andeng Ynares Official Facebook Page)
