IBAAN, Batangas - About 50 mobile vendors in this town were given Nego -Kart or Negosyo sa Kariton from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) on Thursday, October 21.
Single-parent residents, people with disabilities, and senior citizens, particularly those who have not yet received government assistance, are among those who will benefit from the program.
The purpose of this project is to provide employment to their countrymen who are most in need.
Each Nego-Kart has an attached barbecue grill, single-burner stove, brand new LPG tank with hose, clip and regulator, acrylic customized food dispenser, frying pan, science, strainer, aluminum tray, basin, strainer with handle, face mask cloth , face shield, apron, pot holder, stick, plastic cup, organizer, fish ball, kikiam, fries, nachos, cheese rings, candies, and hand air pump.
According to Mayor Joy Salvame, the DOLE and the office of Fourth District Representative Lianda Bolilia have partnered with the local government in the program. - PB, PIA4A
