Gov. Hernandez remove curfew hours in Laguna
Governor Ramil Hernandez

CALAMBA CITY, Laguna - The implementation of curfew hours has been revoked in the entire province of Laguna beginning Friday, a day after it was lifted in Metro Manila.

Governor Ramil Hernandez issued Executive Order No. 32 on Friday, November 5, ordering the immediate abolition of curfew hours in towns and cities throughout the province.

According to Hernandez, the decision to lift the curfew was prompted by the province's continuing decline in Covid-19 cases.

He said the number of Covid-19 recorded cases dropped by more than 30-percent from September to October and has continued to drop in recent days.

He said based on data from the Laguna Provincial Health Office, those affected by Covid-19 are also recovering one after another with the recorded recovery rate of 98-percent in the province.

“Ang pagluwag na ito ay batay sa datos ng Provincial Health Office kung saan nakapagtala na ng 30% na pagbaba sa kaso ng COVID-19 nitong buwan ng Setyembre at Oktubre, at patuloy pa itong bumababa hanggang sa kasalukuyan,” the Governor said in his statement. official Facebook page.

Although there has been a relaxation of existing rules Hernandez has warned Lagunenses to continue to follow health protocols and get vaccinated as added protection against the chronic symptoms of Covid-19.

As of Saturday, November 6, the total number of active Covid-19 cases in Laguna dropped to 2,350.

The province remains on Covid-19 Alert Level 3 until November 14.
