NAIC, Cavite - The local government vaccinated up to 1,961 residents today, October 20, as part of its Covid-19 mass vaccination program.
According to the Municipal Health Office, Moderna vaccines were provided for the first dose of vaccination, while Astrazeneca Covid-19 vaccines were provided for those who had already received the first dose.
Currently, the local government vaccinates resident healthcare workers, senior citizens, people with comorbidities, essential workers, and indigent residents who have registered in their town's vaccine registry at the same time.
Although more residents are being vaccinated with the help of the town government's Mass Vaccination program, Mayor Junio Dualan continues to urge his countrymen to get vaccinated.
According to the mayor, the said vaccine will help to prevent the severe symptoms of the disease so as to finally achieve the government’s target herd immunity. (with report from Naic LGU)
