SANTA ROSA CITY, Laguna - Residents in various priority categories received 234,595 doses of Covid-19 vaccination from the local government.

There are now 86,764 people who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19, as well as those who have been inoculated with single dose vaccines made by Johnson & Johnson.

In addition, another 147,831 individuals have been injected with the first dose of the vaccine and are just waiting for the second dose for complete protection against infectious diseases.

The vaccines used at the various vaccination sites in the city came from the allocation of the national government and from the initial batch of AstraZeneca vaccines purchased by the city government.

Currently, only 31.30 percent of the city's 277,213 target population are fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

The city government continues to encourage citizens to join the fight against Covid-19 by following all minimum public health protocols and registering for the vaccine.

For those who want to register, just visit the Santa Rosa COVID-19 Vaccination Portal or go to your barangay office to help register. (report from City Government of Santa Rosa)
