BATANGAS CITY - Brgy San Isidro (Junior category) and Brgy Poblacion 24 (Senior category) were declared winners in the final round of the Mayor Beverley Dimacuha Inter-Barangay Mobile Legends Tournament 2021 on December 5.
The competition intends to strengthen Batangueo players' skills in Mobile Legend, a globally famous mobile e-sport, as well as to sharpen their skills in strategies, priorities, and changes to secure success.
This game requires good strategy and wit on the part of the players. The competition also aims to raise the ability and confidence of the players in themselves and have a good relationship and team work among the players.
Jonas Dhave Lee Driz of San Isidro and Rufino Allenigue Jr. won as Most Valuable Players (MVPs). of Poblacion 24.
The champions received a P20,000 cash prize while the MVPs took home a P3,000.00 prize.
A total of 52 teams at the Junior level while 14 teams at the Senior level from various barangays in the city participated in the tournament which was held from November 10. The competition is organized by the City Council for Youth Affairs (CCYA).
