TAYTAY, Rizal - The Taytay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO)'s training facility is now open to the public as a Christmas Camp, complete with multicolored LED lights and lanterns.

The two-hectare open field training facility for Taytay rescue personnel, police, firefighters, and emergency responders has been temporarily transformed into a mini playground to provide entertainment for families during the holiday season, according to MDRRMO chief Engineer Paula Zapanta.

MDRRMO rescue equipment, including a jetski, boat, and rescue vehicles, is on display inside the Christmas Camp.

There are also swings for children and adults as entertainment.

According to Taytay Mayor Joric Gacula, the Christmas Camp is intended for residents so that they do not have to go far for fun.
