LUCENA CITY - The entire Quezon Provincial Capitol in the city of Lucena shone after the opening of the Christmas lights on Tuesday night, December 7, 2021.
The program began with a sermon delivered by seminarians from St. Alfonsus Regional Seminary and the choir from Quezon Science High School.
Following the sermon, Quezon Gov. Danilo Suarez stated that he wants Quezonians to join together in responding to problems such as the pandemic. May love, cooperation, and peace reign in each other, he added.
After the speech of Gov. Suarez, at the same time people countdown to the opening of the lighting with the accompanying fireworks display.
People greatly admired the giant Christmas tree as well as the life-sized Nativity display. Even the Capitol garden was also filled with lighting.
