LUCENA CITY - Quezon Gov. Danny Suarez provided the light-hearted moments to the bombast of the Bongbong-Sara tandem that descended upon Lucena City to win votes for the 2022 polls.
Before a throng of Lucena residents and local political kingpins gathered at the Qezon Convention Center, Suarez quipped about being an "Anti-Marcos"-- that is, he confessed to going through anxiety, "antay nang antay kung kailan ibabalik ng mga Amerikano si Marcos."
She also cited that three barangays in the city have more Visayan residents than Tagalogs, and these homesites are likely throwing their support to the Bongbong Marcos-Sara Duterte tandem in next year's presidential elections.
Quezon governor Suarez hosted programs in areas were the Bongbong Sara caravan passed through. Among those who joined the caravan were Quezon 2nd District Representative David Suarez, ALONA partlylist Rep. Anna V. Suarez, Quezon 3rd District Rep. Aleta Suarez and Gumaca Mayor Webster Letargo. Also joining the Bongbong-Sara tandem were former-President Gloria M. Arroyo, House of Representative Majority Floor Leader and LAKAS-CMD chairman Martin Romualdez, Rep. Mikee Arroyo and former Senator Jinggoy Estrada.
