TAYABAS CITY - 336 people were vaccinated with their first dose, second dose, and booster shots on February 2, 2022, at the Bayanihan Isolation Facility, according to the City Information and Community Relations Office -LGU Tayabas Facebook page.

Up to 105 people were vaccinated with the first dose of Janssen vaccine, 111 with the first dose of Pfizer vaccine from the pediatric population, and 88 with booster shots. Pfizer has also injected some deferred individuals with the second dose of Sinovac.

The vaccination flow went smoothly on the scheduled date thanks to the cooperation of the Barangay Officials, Tayabas Vaccination Team, Auxilliary Support Groups, and Civil Society Organization.

Tayabas City Mayor Ernida Agpi Reynoso urged the Tayabasin people to join together and support the vaccination process in order to combat the threat of Covid-19 spread.

Meanwhile, as of January 26, 2022, one hundred and twenty-six (126) people had been declared recovered and cleared of their confirmed cases, according to the Tayabas City Health Office.

However, the City Health Office said that the percentage of those who inject booster shots is still very low, so he once again encouraged Tayabasin residents to do so.
