IMUS, Cavite - Police arrested 3 drug suspects and seized more than P3.4 million worth of shabu (crystal meth) in separate buy-bust operations in the cities of Bacoor and Imus in Cavite province recently.

According to a Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon) police report, anti-narcotics agents arrested Joery Villafañe and Ignito Mejares on Saturday around 3:15 p.m. after the two sold a package of shabu to undercover police officers in the transaction in Barangay Molino 4 in Bacoor City.



The suspects were discovered in possession of two knot-tied plastic bags containing 500 grams of shabu, with a Dangerous Drugs Board value of P3,400,000.

In Imus City, anti-illegal drugs operatives busted Rasul Abedin in another operation in Barangay Malagasang 1D around 3:50 a.m. Sunday.



The suspect was found in possession of three sachets of crystal meth weighing 11 grams valued at P99,000.

The suspects are currently in custody and facing criminal charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
