CAVITE CITY - After being placed on Alert Level 2, the Cavite provincial government eased restrictions on mall operations on Wednesday.
According to Executive Order No. 4 series of 2022, malls are allowed to operate from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. with a 50 percent indoor capacity to the fully vaccinated and even to minors who are not vaccinated.
Meanwhile, outdoor venue capacity can open up to 70% of operations as long as all their workers are fully vaccinated and follow the health protocols set by the IATF.
The same cap is imposed for restaurants, kiosks, commissaries, and eateries, the order said.
Malls are also encouraged to prioritize entry or give priority to frontline workers.
"The above rules shall be without prejudice to the implementation of other measures imposed by mall operators and the Department of Trade and Industry and other relevant government agencies," the nabing EO said.
