IMUS, Cavite - Cavite Vice Governor Jolo Revilla posted on Facebook that he filed Resolution No. 314, or an increase in the minimum wage for workers in the province of Cavite, in the 129th Regular Session of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan.

According to Revilla, the meeting was successful because all local officials were there.

“Naging produktibo ang ating diskusyon dahil sa nagkakaisang bisyon ng bawat isa. Makaaasa kayo na magkakatuwang nating haharapin ang anumang pagsubok ngayong taon dahil kasangga ninyo ang Sangguniang Panlalawigan,” he said in a statement on social media.

It will be recalled that the minimum wage in Cavite is one of the biggest issues demanded by workers in the province especially here in some of the big factories and companies.

So far, there are no further details on Revilla's post.
