GUMACA, Quezon - Local residents believe in good governance, which includes caring, honest, and orderly administration. This is also true in Gumaca, which recently received donations from the Philippine National Grid Corporation (NGCP).
The Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), which is supervised by Bb Nancy Pascual, donated relief packs (200 boxes) containing groceries such as canned food, coffee, noodles, and rice.
In addition, ten (10) boxes containing vitamins, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), facemasks, and alcohol were donated to the Rural Health Unit Office, which is led by Dr. Maria Estelita Soriano.
According to the local government, this is a significant contribution to protecting the health of their citizens, particularly those who are most in need of assistance and care.
It will be remembered that, in addition to drug and aid donations during the peak of the pandemic, the said corporation chose the town of Gumaca to provide a new and fully equipped Health Center facility, which was successfully built and is now benefiting in Brgy. Tumayan and neighboring barangays.
That is why the people's government, led by Gumaca Municipal Mayor Webster D. Letargo to the NGCP, is deeply grateful for the enormous amount of assistance and support provided to Gumaca.
In progressive and new Gumaca, service to the health of every Gumaqueños is always first in purpose of community development.
