ANGONO, Rizal - Angono Elementary School (AES) welcomed back 297 students on Monday, April 4, 2022.

The school supervisor ensured the safety of the students who participated in the pilot implementation of face-to-face classes by providing handwashing stations, wearing a face mask, and complying with health protocols enforced by the IATF.

Aside from being safe, the students had a happy first day of school after Goto Box Angono Branch distributed hot porridge with the help of two mascots, Lakan and Marikit.

On the first day, according to Dr. Aurora DU. Flores, the school's principal, was filled with joy and excitement.

“Naging best practices at ipinagmamalaki ng AES ang 3 C's - Cooperation, Coordination at open Communication, ang mga magulang at guro ay naging aware sa lahat ng gawain kayat naging madali though mahirap ito ay naging madali dahil nakiisa ang lahat,” he said.

AES is the only and first public elementary school in Angono to participate in the pilot testing of limited face-to-face classes. (with reports from DepEd Tayo Rizal Province)
