SANTA ROSA CITY, Laguna - The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) has recently begun dispatching vote counting machines (VCM) for the national and local elections on May 9, 2022.
Other automated election system supplies will also be dispatched from COMELEC's warehouse in Santa Rosa City, Laguna, to regional hubs across the country.
The COMELEC, on the other hand, assured that they will prioritize the provision of VCMs and AES to remote provinces in the country.
According to the COMELEC, there are more than 40 regional hubs in the country where election paraphernalia and equipment will be sent.
The COMELEC targets to complete the deployment of the said equipment within 18 days. (with reports from FC, PIA Laguna)
