TAYTAY, Rizal - The Taytay local government, led by the Municipal Health Office (MHO), has expanded the School Vaccination for Kids Program to provide free Covid-19 vaccine to children aged 5 to 11.
According to the Taytay MHO, vaccination began in all schools on April 4 and will continue until April 8 to allow more children to be vaccinated.
The MHO reminded parents that in order for their children to be included in the program, they should only contact their respective class advisers.
Meanwhile, Tanay MHO emphasized the importance of bringing certain documents, such as proof of filiation, and if the child's parent is not present, a Special Power of Attorney (SPA) and authorization letter are required if the partner is a relative.
If the child wants to be vaccinated but is not a student of the aforementioned schools such as San Francisco Elementary School, Simona Elementary School, Sta. Ana Elementary School, San Beda College - Taytay, Cresdaville Elementary School and other schools just head to SM Taytay or Waltermart for vaccination.
Meanwhile, the vaccination is scheduled to be conducted at Siena College Taytay, Taytay United Methodist Christian School and Bagong Pag-asa Elementary School this coming Thursday, April 7.
On Friday, April 8, vaccinations will be held for the students of St. John Parochial School, San Lorenzo Elementary School and Sitio Tapayan Elementary School. (with reports from Maine Odong, PIA4A)
