9.9-M individuals in Calabarzon, fully vaccinated against Covid-19

CALAMBA CITY, Laguna - The Department of Health (DOH) Center for Health Development Calabarzon urges residents throughout the region to complete their Covid-19 vaccination.

DOH Center for Health Development Calabarzon data, as of April 4, over 9,985,174 people had received the required doses of the Covid-19 vaccine.



It accounts for 74% of the region's target population for vaccination.

Cavite province had the highest Covid-19 vaccination rate, with 2,790,988 people vaccinated. It accounts for 79% of the government's overall goal.



The provinces of Laguna had 2,165,930 fully vaccinated people, Batangas had 1,998,186, and Rizal had 1,867,720 vaccinated people in total.

In Quezon province, with 982,955 fully vaccinated residents, more people are expected to be vaccinated.



Meanwhile, 179,395 individuals in Lucena have also completed the required dose of vaccine.

According to DOH Calabarzon, up to 21,520,927 doses of the vaccine have been injected in various parts of the region. This includes vaccines injected into individuals for their booster shot. - Patricia Bermudez, PIA4A (with report from DOH Calabarzon)
