CALAMBA CITY, Laguna - The Department of Transportation (DOTr) conducted 'Oplan Biyaheng Ayos' to ensure the smooth and safe return of passengers to the provinces in devotion of Semana Santa.

Land Transportation Office (LTO) Region IV-A personnel conducted roadside and PUV terminal inspections throughout Calabarzon to ensure motorist safety and the implementation of minimum public health protocols.

Local government law enforcement officers assist the LTO in conducting the inspection.

The agency has also set up a help desk for motorists.

The LTO ensured oversight of the implementation of minimum public health standards on public vehicles.

They also distributed flyers containing information related to road safety and traffic laws. - Ruth Quinto, PIA Laguna
