LUCENA CITY - The Land Transportation Franchising Regulatory Board (LTFRB), the Provincial Government, and the office of 2nd District Congressman David "Jayjay" Suarez held a consultative meeting for Quezon Province's transportation groups on March 14 at the St. Jude Multipurpose Cooperative Hotel and Event Center in Tayabas City. The meeting covered the LTFRB's Fuel Subsidy Program and also the Pantawid Pasada Program (PPP).
Attending the event were Governor Danilo E. Suarez, 2nd District Congressman Jayjay Suarez-Chief of Staff Diony Rodolfa and LTFRB Chief of Technical Division and Regional Focal Person for Fuel Subsidy Program Ms. Luz Lumbera, 4th District Board Member Dhoray Tan.
The goal of this activity is to assist the province of Quezon in the transportation sector, which has been severely impacted by the country's ongoing increase in fuel prices.
Lumbera discussed the programs offered by their agency in response to the support and needs of people working in the transportation sector.
Governor Danny Suarez shared the Province's ongoing programs and services, as well as the steps being taken to assist the various transportation sectors, in his speech.
Meanwhile, the Provincial Government's programs for residents of the Province of Quezon from various sectors in the Province will continue. (with report from Quezon - PIO)
