LUCENA CITY - The Soul and Robert Price or S&R Membership Shopping to built-in Lucena City has recently held its groundbreaking ceremony.

This activity was led by Mayor Roderick "Dondon" Alcala and his children Mark Alcala and Graciel Dawn Victor Alcala.

S&R Membership Shopping, President Anthony Sy, and Business Development Consultant Antonio See were present at the groundbreaking ceremony.

Lucena City councilors Manong Nick Pedro, Amer Lacerna, Wilbert McKinly Noche, Christian Ona, Baste Brizuela, SK Federation President Patrick Nadera, and the mayor's cousin Ayan Alcala also participated in the event.

There were also some barangay captains and department heads and some members of the Lucena City media.

During a brief ceremony, S&R president Anthony See delivered a message in which he thanked the entire local government leadership for their warm reception of him and his colleagues.

He stated that the construction of such a shopping center is also due to Lucena City's promising prospects.

Meanwhile, in a message from Mayor Alcala extended his greetings and respect to the guests of honor on the said occasion, especially Lucio Co, who is the owner.

According to the mayor, he and his eldest son Mark Alcala planned for a long time to build a business for the people of Lucenahin.

They also met with the owner of the said company several times to discuss the start of its construction.

After a few meetings, Lucio Co himself called him and revealed that construction in Lucena City would begin.

Meanwhile, according to Mark Alcala, S&R Membership Shopping's construction is only the beginning of the city's so-called "Boom."

This said establishment is also one of the projects he is launching to benefit the people of the city and the city's future development.

Mayor Alcala and his son are grateful to Lucio Co and his family for taking the first step toward accomplishing their dreams for the Lucenahin due to the groundbreaking ceremony.

The said establishment in Lucena City is just one of the proud projects initiated by the Alcala couple to attract more prominent and more entrepreneurs to Lucena City.

And having it will undoubtedly provide a variety of jobs for the city's residents, and they will no longer need to travel to another town to buy goods.
