Walk-in vaccination for the pediatric population, to be opened in Angono

ANGONO, Rizal - Parents or guardians can now vaccinate their children even without getting a schedule through the walk-in vaccination that the local government will open at SM Angono Cinema this coming Thursday, April 21.

According to the Angono Public Information Office, they have allocated more than 600 vaccination slots for those belonging to the pediatric population to further increase the number of vaccinated children in their town.

For a faster vaccination process, the local government has advised parents to bring the relevant documents such as birth certificate and valid ID of the child as well as the valid ID of the parent or guardian included on the day of vaccination.

A medical clearance or certificate is required if the child to be vaccinated has comorbidity.

Angono PIO added that to ensure the safety of the children, the vaccination team will not accept an authorization letter, so parents or guardians are encouraged to obtain a barangay certificate or special power of attorney first.

At the same time, the local government will also provide a booster dose for citizens belonging to various priority groups aged 18 and above.

Local government notice, a three -month interval from receiving the second dose of vaccine is required before injecting for the booster dose.
