PAKIL, Laguna - The Pakil local government expects to begin infrastructure projects in their town before the end of Vince Soriano's last term as mayor.
Soriano said first that the town government has set a P500-M target funding from the national government for program implementation.
This includes the P100-M start-up fund for the Pangil-Pakil-Paete Circumferential Road, which connects Barangay Galalan ng Pangil and Barangay Saray in Pakil town.
The Saray Barangay Site to Sitio Diman to Barangay Balian will receive P200 million in funding in 2023.
Other local government works for River Control, Box Culverts, and draining projects worth P140-M is expected to be completed in July.
The mayor added that Engineer Edwin Gardiola, CWS Partylist's representative in the lower house, assured that the requested P60-M funding from the local government for the construction of roads in their town would be granted.
- PB, PIA4A
