PSBP launches Mobile clinic for TB screening in Antipolo City



ANTIPOLO CITY, Rizal - Antipolo's local government tried to lower the number of tuberculosis deaths in the city by conducting comprehensive chest X-ray exams until November 29 of this year.

The Philippine Business for Social Progress (PSBP) lead the TB screening in collaboration with the Culion Foundation, ACCESS TB, Department of Health (DOH) Region IV-A, Rizal Provincial Health Office, and Antipolo City Health Office.



According to Mayor Andrea Ynares, through this, individuals who test positive for the disease will be immediately identified and given the appropriate medication.

The program is open to all citizens especially to high-risk individuals such as senior citizens, those with HIV, those with diabetes, persons with disabilities (PWD), jeepney and tricycle drivers, as well as individuals who smoking.



Those who underwent the program, a mobile clinic rotate around the city visited by those who want to get tested based on the schedule and venue set by the city government.

On April 28, the mobile X-ray clinic is scheduled to head to East Kamias in Barangay Santa Cruz, according to the city government. (with reports from MO, PIA 4A)
