Antipolo inaugurates City Hall Annex Building
Antipolo City Mayor Andrea Ynares, 1st District Councilor Susan Garcia-Say, 2nd District Councilor Loni Leyva and Councilor-elect Christian Alarcon among other local officials and department heads led the ceremonial ribbon cutting, blessing and unveiling of its ceremonial marker in front of the building.

ANTIPOLO CITY, RIZAL - The City Government of Antipolo inaugurated its new 9-storey city hall annex building recently.

Construction of the annex adjacent to the current city hall building started in 2019 and was temporarily halted during the hard lockdown of the pandemic before resuming operations leading to its blessing.

Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage Shrine Rector Rev. Fr. Reynante Tolentino officiated the blessing of the new building.

Rev. Fr. Tolentino stated during the program that while outgoing mayor Andrea Ynares has only served for one term, he is confident that returning mayor Casimiro "Jun" Ynares III will continue the city's continuous development.

The outgoing mayor said in her address that while she would be leaving behind the title of mayor, she will continue to have a heart for serving the citizens.

Ynares also earlier stated in her official Facebook account that there will also be a complaint desk in the annex building similar to the current hall and four Antipolo City Hospital System annexes where stakeholders can voice their concerns.

She also assured citizens that complaints against rude or unprofessional city government personnel will quickly be acted on by the city's human resources department. (GG/PIA-Rizal with reports from Jun-Andeng Ynares Official Facebook Page)
