MONTALBAN, Rizal — The local government wants to achieve a Drug-Free Workplace in every office in Montalban, Rizal, especially in every Barangay, which is why the employees of Barangay San Jose and Manggahan were subjected to Surprise Mandatory Simultaneous Drug Testing.

According to Mayor Ronnie Evangelista's report, mandatory drug testing is a step toward achieving the goal of a 'Drug-Free Workplace,' where every public servant is safer and more productive in providing good public services.



This policy is also Mayor Evangelista's way of giving a good example to every Montalbeño citizen.

In this regard, the Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Unit (MADAU), Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC), Philippine National Police (PNP), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), and the Municipal Health Office are partners of the local government in the activity. (MHO) – Montalban.
