P26-B worth of programs in Batangas City to be implemented in 2023





BATANGAS CITY- By 2023, the Batangas city government intends to implement up to P26.7 billion in programs and projects.

According to City Planning and Development Coordinator Gilda Godoy, the city government has divided its Annual Investment Program (AIP) into three sectors, General Public Services, Social Services, and Economic Services, to quickly identify projects needing immediate response.



General Public includes Executive Services, Legislative Services, Planning and Development Services, Civil Registry, Budgeting, Accounting, Treasury, Real Property Assessment Services, Legal, Prosecution, and Internal Audit Services. It has a total of P7,893,210.000.00.

Social Services is under the Special Education Fund, Educational Services, Health Services, Social Welfare, and Local Disaster Risk Reduction Management Fund. It has a total fund of P5,389,960,000.00.



Veterinary and Agricultural Services, Environmental Services, Engineering, Market Administration, Infrastructure Development Program, and other projects are covered by Economic Services for a total of P 13,515,500,000.00.

The total investment program is P26,798,670,000.00.
