Bondoc Peninsula to boost tourism sector
Representative-elect Reynante Arrogancia

BONDOC PENINSULA, Quezon - In a recent interview, Representative-elect Reynante Arrogancia, the new incumbent congressman in Quezon Province's third district, revealed that he will be visiting tourist attractions in the region "to shine a light on destinations to promote trade, culture, and business."

He confirmed that his main focus for the development of the Bondoc Peninsula Area is the agriculture industry, tourism, additional employment, and the construction of a new road (farm-to-market road) that will deliver harvested products to the market.

Congressman-elect Arrogancia also wants to open a 'trading post' in Pitogo to sell fruits and vegetables grown by farmers in the Bondoc Peninsula's 12 towns.

Arrogancia will also improve the operation of the San Andres Port, which will serve as a gateway to the Bicol Region and some Visayas provinces. As a result, many industries and trades will thrive here.

Arrogancia will also open a 'one-stop-shop' meeting place in each town on the Bondoc Peninsula to sell local products. In each center, there is also a clean 'comfort room.'

He also stated that the "BonPen festival," which aims to introduce beautiful sights such as beaches and products in the towns of the Bondoc peninsula, will be one of his initiatives.

According to Arrogancia, this will be his priority in the first year of his tenure as congressman of the third district of Quezon province.

Arrogancia is a Congressman from Quezon's third congressional district elected in the most recent election.

Meanwhile, Arrogancia provides free tour guides and first-aid training to tourism workers nationwide, including passenger jeepneys and tricycle drivers.

Arrogancia urged the Department of Tourism and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority to replicate a program launched in Baler, Aurora, across the country, particularly in tourist areas.

He believes that tour guides, hotel personnel, and resort staff in tourist destinations should all be trained in first aid.
