CAVINTI, Laguna - Travel and tourism workers and professionals attended a seminar held by the Department of Tourism (DOT) CALABARZON on July 12 in Cavinti, Laguna.

The center of the discussion was the theme “Filipino Brand of Service Excellence,” or the provision of exemplary service to tourists.

The purpose of the seminar is to provide additional knowledge to the workers in the tourism industry in the town of Cavinti on the correct and quality service.

Cavinti boasts a variety of eco-tourism sites such as Cavinti Falls, Cavinti Underground River and Caves Complex, resorts, and many more natural resources.

According to Mayor Arrantlee Arroyo, it is essential to ensure that visitors to the town are provided with good service and unforgettable experiences so that tourists can come back to them.

“Ito po ang unang napakahalagang hakbang upang maisakatuparan po natin ang ating pangako na muli po nating bubuhayin ang Turismo ng minamahal nating bayan ng Cavinti.”, Arroyo said.

The mayor added that tourism workers can count on the full support of the local government to revive the tourism industry in the area.
