IMUS CITY, Cavite -The city of Imus recently reaffirmed the quality of its Molecular Laboratory's medical services after it met Department of Health (DOH) and Research Institute for Tropical Medicine standards (RITM).
The City of Imus Molecular Laboratory recently received the highest score of 10/10 in the DOH and RITM 2022 External Quality Assessment.
It aims to measure the quality of processing in laboratory tests submitted by Molecular Laboratories in the country.
“Hindi lang pasado, perfect score pa ang natanggap ng ating City of Imus Molecular Laboratory sa 2022 External Quality Assessment ng DOH-RITM,” said Mayor Emmanuel Maliksi.
According to the mayor, it is a great honor for their city to receive such recognition. As the first molecular laboratory to be built in Calabarzon, the city government wants its facility to be a model in compliance with the standards enforced by the authorities, particularly in medical services during this pandemic.
