SANTA CRUZ, Laguna - The Provincial Nutrition Action Office (PNAO) recently launched Pan de Laguna in conjunction with Nutrition Month.
Pan de Laguna contains horseradish and micronutrients such as zinc, iron, iodine, calcium, vitamin A, and folic acid.
The PNAO ensured that the bread was made with high-quality ingredients and no artificial flavoring.
Pan de Laguna will help pregnant, and breastfeeding mothers and pre-school children avoid stunting.
Governor Ramil Hernandez wants to further strengthen the province's nutrition program, so some provincial government agencies such as PNAO, Field Agricultural Extension Services - Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (FAES -OPAg), and the Provincial Veterinary Office will work together. To ensure that all Lagunense, from the womb to old age, are provided with proper nutrition to become healthy and productive citizens. - CH, PIA4A
