SANTA ROSA CITY, Laguna — During the Rosenian Youth Leadership Excellence Awards (RYLEA), the Santa Rosa Schools Division recognized student leaders, program implementers, and teacher advisers from various public schools in the city.

DepEd Santa Rosa organized RYLEA based on DepEd's "Gawad Siklab," which aims to improve students' abilities by identifying their strengths and weaknesses, as well as how to boost their self-confidence and motivation.



According to DepEd, the main goal of this program is to recognize the accomplishments and significant contributions of students and schools in the implementation of youth formation programs, projects, and activities aligned with the DepEd Core Values; to recognize and honor students for their leadership qualities, innovations, and exemplary performance that contribute to the improvement of their school and community; and to inspire and empower students and teachers.

Also among those who were awarded were the teachers who stand as advisers to the students for their contributions to the implementation of the city's programs and projects for the education sector.
